Shain Stodt is an award-winning children's book author and illustrator, creator of the Sally Mitts Stories.
Shain Stodt is an award-winning illustrator based in rural Pittsboro, North Carolina. She is a passionate devote to nature and all its animals. The proud mother of six foster cats, Shain's Sally Mitts Stories are based on their adventures.
Speaking Engagements and School Presentations:
Shain gives a dramatic reading of her book, and then opens the room for a Q and A. This is followed by an open discussion of related topics the children raise. Shain also encourages teachers to suggest activities they would like to include in advance.
