Tabitha Flax is a children's author passionate about celebrating individuality, embracing differences, and fostering connections. Inspired by the joys and challenges of raising her own identical twin boys, Tabitha's stories bring a unique perspective to children's literature, creating inclusive spaces where twins and their families feel seen, understood, and celebrated. Her debut book, Ollie and Sam: Not Two of a Kind, explores themes of self-confidence, teamwork, and the importance of being true to oneself. Tabitha's writing reflects her dedication to helping children discover the magic of being themselves while learning the value of standing together.
With a background in global strategy and business development, Tabitha has spent much of her career building programs that open doors for students, including global initiatives that have trained and certified thousands of young people in cybersecurity. Additionally, her experience corporate writing as a ghostwriter for CIOs in the IT industry, Tabitha has honed her ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Gifted Community Center, advocating for educational and emotional support for twice-exceptional children. When she's not writing, Tabitha can be found cheering on her boys as they explore their own adventures in indoor skydiving, go-kart racing, and checking out the latest aviation or space museums.
